Just like the countless immigrants we also start our 1. part in New York. Our trip continues down south, through Washington D.C., the Shenandoah Parkway and with a detour to Nashville and Memphis, before we continue to the most southern point of the US, to Key West. From there we ride trough the Everglades N.P. and to New Orleans. From there we continue going west to the border town El Paso and than hit the legendary Route 66 up north, through Oklahoma, St. Louis and Chicago. From there we will make a western loop to see the Grand Teton and Yellowstone N.P., the biker paradies Sturgis, Mitchell and up to the Canadian Border, where we will stop our 1.part.
In our 2. part we will take you north along the Canadian and Alaska-Highway, through untouched nature and cities like Edmonton, Watson Lake, Dawson and up to Fairbanks – the most northern point of our trip. From now on we will ride south through the Denali N.P., Anchorage, take the ferry through the Inside-Passage, the Banff N.P., watch the Stampede in Calgary and across to Vancouver. Back in the USA, we will follow Highway 101 – called the Dream Road of the World – to San Francisco. Our slide-show “North-America†will end in Los Angles, but not before visiting Las Vegas, Yosemite N.P., Death Valley, Bryce N.P., Zion N.P., Arches N.P., Mesa Verde and the Grand Canyon N.P..

We choosed the city Nogales to cross the border from Arizona/USA into Mexico and will follow the Panamericana along the westcoast of Mexico until the 20-million-metropolis “Mexico-Cityâ€. On our way down South we will visit the Yukatan-Peninsula (to see in Palenque the historic Sanctuaries of the Mayas), the countries El Salvadore, Honduras, Costa Rica and will cross just before Panama-City the huge bridge across the Panama-Canal. A very special variation are the markets in Central-America. Next to the products they sell, are the colourful and the highly artistic weaved and embroidery blouses and skirts of the women. Short after Panama-City the Darien Gap prevented us from continuing on the road to South-America. Cause due to the political situation we could not travel through Columbia and therefore we will continue in Ecuador. With pictures of the impressive excavations in Peru, the cities Lima, Nasca and Cuzco we will finish our 1. part in Machu Picchu, the lost City of of the Incas.
In the 2. part we will travel south to Ushuaia (the most southern city of the World), of course not without stopping at the Titicaca-Lake, the city La Paz in Bolivia, the Atama-Dessert, the Torres del Paine N.P. and the Moreno Glacier in Chile. All roads end in Ushuaia, therefore we turn around going North. We will follow the Eastcoast of Argentina, will visit the Peninsula Valdes, the city Buenos Aires and the fascinating Iquazu-Waterfalls in the corner where Argentina, Paraguay and Brasil meet. We will finish our 2. part with pictures of Rio de Janeiro.

Our starting point will be Perth on the Westcoast of Australia. From there we will travel north along the magnificent and deserted Westcoast, have a look at the sandstone structures in the Pinnacle Dessert, the small town Monkey Mia, with the delphins and at the town Darwin. Of course we also have a look at the Kakadu N.P., just 210 kilometers west of Darwin, with its multiplicity of plants and animals. What would be a visit to Australia, without seeing Alice Springs, the Devil Marbles, Ayers Rock, the Olgas and Coober Pedy. To see those attractions it is necessary to travel along the Stuart Highway, which runs over a length of 3000 kilometres from north to south and divides Australia into two parts. At the end we will take the Great Ocean Road with the 12 offshore islands called “the 12 Apostelsâ€. Still impressed of the outback we decided to go inland up north to Cairns and than riding back south on the marvellous road next to the Eastcoast. Of course we will stopp to go snorkelling at the Great Barrier Rief and looking at the cities Brisbane and Sydney.
In our 2. part we will take you to New Zealand. New Zealand is only an 3 hours flight away from Australia, but you have the feeling to be in a totally different world. There are no dangerous animals, temperatures are not as high and everything is a little smaller and the distances are much less. The North-Island with its hot springs and geysers, deserted beaches, the untouched nature and the friendliness and helpful people makes New Zealand really worth to visit! All those positive impressions that we had on the North-Island had been exceeded on the South-Island. It is not the cities that make you eyes get big, it is much more the nature with the mountains, the glaciers, the fjords and animals and flora belonging to it.

We will start our 1. part also just like thecountless immigrants in New York/USA and let you be part of our journey, lasting 40 000 kilometres through North-America and Canada. Our travel course will be: starting in New York, going south to Nashville, Memphis, Miami and the Keys, to New Orleans and El Paso/Texas. Following Route 66 up to St. Louis and Chicago. After visiting The Grand Teton and Yellowstone N.P. we will cross the border to Canada just after Mitchel. The Canadian- and Alaska-Highway will bring us up to Edmonton, Dawson, Fairbanks (our most northern travel point), Anchorage, Calgary and to Vancouver. Along the Westcoast we will have a look at San Francisco, Las Vegas, all the N.P. in the Southwest and Los Angeles. Going further south (another 40 000 kilometres) we will pass through Mexico, El Salvadore, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. The Darien Gap (jungle) stopped us from going south, so we flew from Panama City to Ecuador and followed the coastline to Peru. We will visit Nasca, Cuzco, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, the Atacama Dessert and La Paz/Bolivia. Back down from the Anden, we will take you to Chile, passing through the Torre del Paine N.P. and the Moreno Glacier before we will reach Ushuaia (the most southern city of the World). All roads end in Ushuaia, so we will turn around, going north along the Eastcoast through Argentina, visit the Iquazu-Waterfalls and have a look at Rio de Janeiro/Brasil, before we leave the South-American-Continent. We will continue in South-Africa (travelling 5 000 kilometres), showing you pictures of the Kruger-National-Park, the city Durban and the awesome Cape-Region, where we will end our 1. part.
Our 2.part will start in Australia, where we travelled 20 000 kilometres. Going from Perth along the Westcoast up to Darwin, visit the Kakadu N.P., than following the Stuart Highway to the Ayers Rock and the Olgas. Further south we will stop in Cooper Pedy and take the Great Ocean Road to Melbourne. Still impressed of the outback we decided to go inland up north to Cairns. Along the Eastcoast we will visit Brisbane and Sydney before we reach Melbourne again. We shipped our bike out of Melbourne/Australia to Auckland/New Zealand. After crossing the North-Island and a round-trip along the coast line of the South-Island, we had another 7 000 kilometres on our speedometer and till now we also have been in one of the most beautiful countries during our trip. Making the dream “going around the World†come true, we will take you along our last 16 000 kilometres. Starting in Vladivostok (Eastcoast of Russia), the road will take us next to the Chinese and the Mongolian border, across Russia to Lake Baikal and via the cities of Kazan, Moskau and St.Petersburg, the countries Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Czechoslovakia back to our hometown Stuttgart in Germany. Finally there is to mention that we rode the longest possible stretch overland from North to South (Alaska to the bottom of S.America) and also from West to East (from the Atlantic to the Pacific).
